Ops Command — One Live Schedule for a National Inspection Team
Remedy Asset Protection, led by Director and NACE Certified Coatings Inspector (Level 3) Justin Rigby, has been protecting Australian infrastructure since 2013. Its inspectors are deployed nationally on bridges, pipelines, and water tanks — assessing corrosion and coatings on assets that have to last decades. The inspection work is world-class. The constraint was never the inspecting. It was coordinating who was where, across the entire country, every single week.
The Challenge
Manual Upkeep
Remedy's job data already lived in Deltek, and it was accurate. The problem was getting it into a form the whole operation could read at a glance.
Scheduling data had to be pulled from five separate Deltek saved searches — one per state — and stitched together by hand.
The raw Deltek export came out as a CSV that someone reformatted manually in Excel every week into a usable tracker layout.
Leave, training, travel days, and public holidays lived nowhere in the job system, so they were tracked separately.
Nobody could see the full national operation on one screen — it lived across tabs and in one person's head.
The spreadsheet worked. It just cost real hours of skilled time every week to keep alive.
The Solution
Phlo built Remedy a custom operations dashboard called Ops Command, running on their own domain at ops.remedy.ap.com. You export everything out of Deltek in one combined report and drop it in. Ops Command does the reformatting automatically, reads the jobs, works out who is scheduled where, and renders the whole national operation as a live calendar and Gantt chart — inspectors down one side, dates across the top.

Key Features
Automatic CSV reformatting: takes the raw Deltek export as-is and shapes it into the working schedule layout, removing the weekly manual Excel step entirely.
One national view: five state-by-state saved searches collapse into a single live calendar and Gantt chart of the whole operation.
Automatic conflict detection: flags two activities on the same inspector on the same day before it becomes a problem.
Manual entries: captures leave, training, travel, and public holidays that Deltek never tracks.
One-click re-sync: re-upload a fresh Deltek export and the schedule updates itself, logging every change as it goes.
Smart filtering: jobs that move into the reporting and drafting phase drop off the live schedule automatically, so it only shows active work.

The Results
The weekly manual job of exporting, reformatting, and stitching together five state spreadsheets is gone — replaced by a single upload.
The first production run picked up 6 new jobs and 11 changes from one Victoria upload, with no manual cross-checking.
The entire national operation is now readable on one screen in seconds, instead of living across tabs and in one person's memory.
A senior, world-class inspector spends his week on corrosion assessment instead of acting as a human scheduling engine.
Runs on Remedy's own domain at ops.remedy.ap.com — it feels like their tool, not a third-party product.
